Give your time

Volunteer
Simple support for children and parents can be the best way to prevent child abuse. After-school activities, parent education classes, mentoring programs, and respite care are some of the many ways to keep children safe from harm.

Become a CASA
CASA volunteers are everyday citizens that advocate for the safety and well-being of children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect.

Help a Parent

Every parent struggles. Know the resources available to parents in your community.

Foster and Adopt

Foster
Foster parents are ordinary people who do extraordinary things for children and families in crisis. Colorado needs foster families, particularly parents willing to care for older youth and siblings.

Adopt
Children and older youth in the foster care system are waiting for a family. They can overcome anything and reach their full potential with help from the community and a supportive family.

Invest in Kids

Investments are needed in programs that have been proven to stop the abuse before it occurs, such as family counseling and home visits by nurses who provide assistance for newborns and their parents, as well as programs working to end the cycle of abuse. Consider donating to a Colorado community partner and encourage leaders in the community and lawmakers to be supportive of programs for children and families.
